INFORMATION ABOUT OUR ESTABLISHMENT

TIMKO INSAAT VE TICARET A.S. has been established in 1958 as an unincorporated company for rendering services in the field of organized collective housing production (social housings) in the framework of the new economical conditions having arisen during those years. Under these new conditions, the Social Security Institution (S.S.K.), which has introduced a solution to the housing problem of the working social group with restricted income, has initiated the construction of social housings by credit. Mr. A. Hikmet Deringöl, the founder of our company included in this new sector, has carried on the duty of management and production in collective housing organization in various projects. The knowledge and experiences formed during this period has been continued by the collective company TIMKO Insaat Kollektif Sirketi having been incorporated in 1976, and has been brough up to date by the joint-stock company TIMKO Insaat ve Ticaret A.S. incorporated in 1981.
